The Queen’s Crown

After The Queen’s anointing, she is crowned with what was formerly Queen Mary’s Crown, made for Queen Mary, the consort of King George V for their coronation in 1911. For the present ceremony, the crown underwent minor changes and additions to include the Cullinan III, IV and V diamonds which were part of Her late Majesty’s personal jewellery collection for many years. The larger Cullinan Stones include the Cullinan I, which is set into The King’s Sceptre, and Cullinan II, which is set into the Imperial State Crown.
