The Queen’s Rod with Dove and The Queen’s Sceptre with Cross

The presentation of sceptre and rod bears similar symbolism and significance to The King’s. As the consort acknowledges the responsibilities she is undertaking, she commits herself to a life of service in support of her husband and her sovereign.
