The Ring

The Sovereign’s Ring was created around 1831. It is set in the with a thin ruby at its centre, engraved with the cross of St George with foil behind. The ruby is surrounded by 26 diamonds set in silver. The Sovereign’s Ring is a symbol of promise and commitment, much like the rings exchanged in marriage.
