Welcome

The Archbishop of Canterbury welcomes everyone to the ceremony and invites all to observe the anointing and crowning of His Majesty the King. This is followed by Bryn Terfel singing Kyrie Eleison, the first part of the traditional Mass. This is the first of the King’s 12 coronation commissions.

Here the Archbishop of Canterbury reflects on the Coronation Service.
